I saw that commercial multiple times & never even noticed the two men. My focus was on the sleeping toddler, who is indeed adorable. Don't people have better things to do irl other than scan commercials for "immoral" content for hours at a time? Imagine living one's life that way. I don't see anything in the ad indicating the two men are a couple (not that there would be anything wrong with that). Maybe the mom dated both men then died without divulging which one was the father.
